Dog Sledding & Travel in Alaska

Sponsor a Dog

Lisbet Norris

Updated: Oct 2, 2021

This holiday season, please consider giving the gift of a dog sponsorship in the name of a loved one! Each one of our Siberian Huskies, plus SebSeb and the KBDs, is available for sponsorship this year. Dog sponsorships go towards new Christmas collars (a yearly treat), new harnesses, new lines (the stinkers chew threw them quickly), dry bedding of imported weed free Washington straw (although sometimes we find the odd dried up snake šŸ˜¬šŸšŸ˜¢), and pallets and pallets of super high quality meat and kibble (we go through about 2000 lbs of dog food per month during the winter season).

Dog sponsors receive: a picture of their sled dog, a handwritten thank you note, plus a locally made glass husky mosaic magnet in the image of their dog. Please note: thank you package is shipped at the end of the season (not in time for Christmas) as magnets must be made to order. After purchase, we will email you a personalized dog sponsorship certificate that can be printed or forwarded to your special person.

COVID-19 has been hard on businesses across the country, tourism especially. We thank you for your contribution to our kennel and assure you that the money you donate to support the sled dogs during this difficult time goes straight into our local Alaskan & US economies. Please join us in supporting small businesses this holiday season. To sponsor your favorite buddy, please visit our Arctic Dog Shop, where we also have gift certificates and Skida x Arctic Dog neck warmers (bringing the aurora to those who can't visit us this year) available for purchase.

From all of us at Arctic Dog, we wish you a happy healthy holiday season!
