ARCTIC DOG ADVENTURE CO.
We’re located about 20 miles north of Fairbanks in the beautiful hills above Goldstream Valley. Getting here is part of the adventure—but don’t worry, it’s easy with the right directions!
Day Tours
To get to Arctic Dog Adventure Co., you can either rent a car or take a taxi or transfer service. We recommend renting a car. Read our blog on how to get to the kennel »
Multi Day Trips
Transportation is included in your trip price. We will pick you up and drop you off at your accomodations in Fairbanks. Fly into Fairbanks International Airport. Read our Multi Day Trip Planning Tips for more info.
Step-by-Step Driving Directions
1. Head North from Fairbanks
Take the Elliott Highway (AK-2) out of town. About 10 miles in, you'll reach Fox, where the Steese and Elliott Highways split. Continue straight through Fox on the Elliott Highway (AK-2).
2. Turn Left on Old Murphy Dome Road
3.5 miles past Fox, at the top of a steep and winding hill, turn left onto Old Murphy Dome Road.
If you reach Hilltop Gas Station, you’ve gone too far.
3. Turn Left on Hattie Creek Road
Drive 6 miles down Old Murphy Dome Road. You’ll see a small sign for Hattie Creek Road—take a left here.
4. Slow Down—You're Almost There!
We’re located at 2270 Hattie Creek Road, the fourth driveway on the right, near the bottom of the hill.

Look for our sign: “2270 - Arctic Dog Adventure Co.”

Please drive slowly—kids and dog teams use this road.

Park at the bottom and walk up to the Check-In sign at the top of the driveway.

⚠️ If you miss the driveway:
Do not attempt a left-hand turn into the drive—it’s steep and easy to get stuck. Instead, continue up the hill, turn around safely, and come back down to make a right-hand turn into the driveway.
